Here we are! The “about” which is always kind of hard to write and that’s why it took me a while to do so.

My name, Fauve, even in french, is pretty uncommon. My parents felt in love with this name when they first watched the tv series called “Mistral’s Daughter”. The story is about a painter who falls in love with 3 women generations. The painter, the genius, the lover whose passions had scared them all finally named  his daughter “Fauve”. Fauve, which means “feline” reffered to the european art mouvement from the 20′s –  the Fauvisme.

People who knows me well could tell you that it stiks to me by my fearless attitude and my bold mindset.

Otherwise, I describe myself as a modern cowgirl. I am currently living in Montreal and I work for a media agency called Touché ! PHD. I also write about music technology and media creativity on their blog. Always working with my headphones, I like digging the web to find new sounds and melodies.

I have pretty eclectic tastes but my heart belongs to country music. You will probably get the feel of it after few podcasts…I tried to explore different musical paths that I hope, you will enjoy taking…

My name is Steve Halliday, I am an unsigned singer-songwriter from London, England, and I am writing to ask if you might be so kind as to listen to some of my music and hopefully review it or feature it on your blog.

I home-recorded an album called ‘Alive Anywhere’, which is mainly acoustic-guitar and vocals-led. You can hear the title track, plus several others at my website here http://sites.google.com/site/stevehallidaymusic/music

You can also hear the title track and other tracks from the album on my youtube channel here http://www.youtube.com/user/stevehallidaymusic?feature=mhum Plus there’s an album preview video there too.

My album is available on iTunes here http://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/alive-anywhere/id321143394?ign-mpt=uo%3D4

If you like what you hear I would be more than happy to send you a CD or a zip file containing the album in mp3s.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope to hear from you. Keep up the great work on your blog!

Kind regards

Hey Fauve,
I was wondering if you could help spread the word about my band’s kickstarter project: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1443584306/the-tins-first-full-length-album?ref=live
Or write a review. Or both. Appreciate your podcasts.

Hi, I just wanted to recommend a band. We’re Lonesome Heights From Brighton UK.

Musically very eclectic… Experimental/Indie/Rock/Electric Folk/Anti-Folk/Blues would be the short description. The self titled debut album has just been released via iTunes and Spotify. If you do have a spare minute please do feel free to have a quick scan of the album and see what you think.

This is currently our only review:

”Great album, seriously congrats! Music & lyric heaven, genius. After a full listen through, went straight back & did it again. Since had 4 songs on repeat Monday Mood, She Keeps Busy, Dreams and She’s a leaver (absolutely love the 13 second mark). Messy Desk makes me feel like I’ve donned one of those comedy double sumo suits and bounced my way around an episode of Roobard & Custard, just brilliant.”

Take that as you will.

To whom it may concern

My name is Taylor Pierre, Manager for “City Fidelia”, born in Montreal, raised in Brooklyn, and currently residing in Ottawa, City Fidelia is a bright spot within Ottawa’s rap scene.
reminding us the good vibe of the native tongue vibe flavor such as De La Soul, The Tribe Called Quest and the
new generation emerging artist like Mac Miller.

City Fidelia is quickly making a name for himself within the city and over the internet. Having already opened for the likes of Casey Veggies, Obie Trice, Action Bronson, Bow wow, Fabolous and A$AP Rocky, his mixtape The Blindspot is an excellent 15-track produced by display of both his skill and professionalism.
Officially releasing his new video shot by Galangster Production “ Just Gimme The Time’’ produced song by Salaam Satus. You can also download the full Blind Spot Mixtape recorded on the year 2012 via the website main page.

To view the press kit and the official new video click http://www.cityfidelia.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/citypresskit.pdf.

City is also available for interviews, if desired. If you have questions, you can contact me by email at echoes.at@gmail.com or the phone above. Thanks for your time.
